Nomad's First Year in Ireland
Nomad's first year in Ireland has been a whirlwind. We started with a simple idea: help businesses use AI in ways that actually save time and money, without the hype.
We've trained teams across sectors - from civil engineering to professional services. We've run workshops, hackathons, and Young AI Dublin. We've seen companies go from 'we don't know where to start' to shipping real AI-assisted workflows.
The biggest lesson? People don't need more tools; they need clarity and confidence. Our job is to cut through the noise and focus on outcomes. Boards ask for 'an AI strategy'; what they usually need is a sensible sequence: quick wins, clear policies, and training that sticks so adoption doesn't die after the first workshop.
On the build side, we've learned that the best projects start with a painful process someone can name - not with a technology shopping list. When we map that process end to end, the right model or integration often becomes obvious. When we skip that step, we get impressive demos and fragile production.
We've also learned how much Ireland's ecosystem matters. Skillnets, local enterprise offices, industry bodies, and peer firms create the trust layer that makes rollout possible. We're not a slide-deck consultancy; we're in the room when things break and when they scale.
2026 is about going deeper: more training, more custom builds, and more participation in Ireland's business and AI community. Thanks to everyone who's been part of the journey so far.
