Working with Skillnet Ireland and 10+ networks nationwide
Skillnet Ireland sits at the centre of how many Irish firms access structured, subsidised training. For Nomad, that partnership is not a badge on a slide - it is how we reach engineers, professional services teams, and SMEs that need AI skills without betting the farm on a single vendor or a twelve-month transformation programme.
We now work with more than ten Skillnets across the country. Each network has its own sector language: manufacturing, construction, technology, financial services, and more. Our job is to translate AI into that language - same underlying tools and governance, different examples and compliance hooks so the room nods instead of glazing over.
Sessions are built around real documents and workflows. We bring redaction discipline, acceptable-use framing, and exercises people can repeat the following week. The Skillnet model makes that accessible: employers get quality without underwriting the whole cost, and teams see training as part of career development rather than a one-off jolly.
We also coordinate with network managers on follow-through - office hours, short clinics, or a second module once the first cohort has tried things in production. Training that ends on a Friday and dies on a Monday helps nobody; Skillnets are unusually good at keeping the conversation going.
If your company already pays into a Skillnet, ask whether AI, automation, or 'digital productivity' tracks are on the schedule. If you are a network lead and want a partner who will show up prepared and respect your members' time, get in touch.
